Escape Theme Park Singapore to close for redevelopment

In a week’s time, the Escape Theme Park at Downtown East Singapore will close for redevelopment. After an eleven-year run, the theme park will be re-designed and upgraded in parts. The Escape Theme Park, which opened in 2000, has attracted more than four million visitors. NTUC Club, which runs the park, said it is expecting the crowd to increase in the last week till it closes its doors next Saturday. Staff said the closure will allow them to better develop their services and rides.
