She dreamed of becoming a singer ever since she was in elementary school. She auditioned alongside Goto Maki for the 3rd generation of Morning Musume when she was seventeen, but didn’t make it. Coincidentally, Goto would join Avex Trax 3 years later. She was noticed by Avex Trax, however, and was signed and began releasing pop music with an urban feel.

Koda Kumi is one of the best JPOP Diva around. People always compare her to Ayumi. In my opinion, there is no basis for comparison. she is just damn gorgeous, sexy and talented.

I will admit that alot of Japanese girls look fake. Fake hair, pounds of make up, so I guess I can understand why you say they don’t have that “natural beauty.” I mean, they could but yes a majority think being covered in make up is the only option to look pretty. But there are natural ones (maybe not as many in Tokyo but the country side where I lived) that are absolutely gorgeous. As long as you agree with me on the american part we’re good hahahaha
